Chaque association a créé son épouvantail à la demande du comité des fétes et de l'association de protection de l'environnement.
Plus de cinquante épouvantails, et leurs 250 créateurs, se sont retrouvés la semaine dernière devant l'église pour mettre en place un parcours à découvrir tout l'été. Embouteillage au centre bourg assuré! Le comité des fétes et l'association Pour l'Environnement et le Patrimoine sont à l'origine de ce projet qui a séduit particuliers, clubs sportifs, associations et les écoliers. Tous ont crée des sujets amusants et plein d'humour : 'Maire et mariés', 'jardiniers et footballeur' et autres personnages imaginaires à découvrir sur un parcours fléché de presque trois kilomètres, en boucle du centre bourg vers la rue du Chéne, direction la Chapelle du Chéne, puis à gauche vers 'Le Portail' passant devant le château, le pont romain, puis à gauche vers le 'Pré Barbin', 'Roisneau', retour vers le centre. Samedi dernier, l'association pour l'environnement et le patrimoine a marqué le lancement du parcours par une balade partie du lieu-dit 'La petite Touche', route d'Izé, avec au retour, un concours de pétanque suivi d' un repas aux saveurs de l'Europe de l'Est. Une commune ou ne l'on ne s'ennuie jamais!

Each association created their scarecrows at the request of the Comité des Fétes and the Association of Protection of the Environnement.
Over fifty scarecrows, and their 250 creators, met last week at the church to make a rambling track to be discovered all summer. A traffic jam in the centre of town was guaranteed! The Comité des Fétes and the Association for the Environment and Heritage are behind the project, which attracted individuals, sports clubs, and school children. All the subjects have been created for fun and are humorous: 'the Mayor and the newly-weds', gardeners, a footballer and other imaginary characters which can be discovered on a marked trail of almost three kilometers running from the town centre in a loop to the rue du Chéne in the direction of la Chapelle du Chéne, then left to 'Le Portail' past the château, the Roman bridge, then left to 'Pre Barbin' and 'Roisneau' before returning to the centre. Last Saturday, the Association for the Environment and Heritage marked the start of the course with a walk from 'La Petite Touche' on the Izé road, and on returning, a petanque competition followed by a meal with flavours of Eastern Europe. A commune where we are never bored!
